This article is in series. Two parts have been published. This third part of the series has become very challenging for me. I have tried to conclude it but have had difficulty to do so. And I know the reason. It is about prayers which is one of the most challenging aspects of the Christian life. The most successful Christians who have passed through this world have triumphed through prevailing prayers. Jesus Christ, God’s image on earth taught His disciples to pray. Revival at Pentecost came from the corporate prayers of the disciples in the upper room at Jerusalem. It was recorded in the Bible that when Jesus their Master had been taken away from them into heaven, they returned to Jerusalem from the mount Olivet. “And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.” (Acts 1:12-14). “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” (Acts 2:1-4)
Prayer is a process for Christians to communicate with God. It is the spiritual practice of the presence of, and claiming our dependence on God. Our prayers demonstrate that we rely on God in all situations; and that helps to take away our anxieties. Prayer is direct access to our coverage from the prevailing evils in the world. Peter advised Christians, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith” (1 Peter 5:8-9). The ship of the world is in serious turbulence. No time in history have we seen open display of hatred for God and hatred for our fellow human being. It is a big sign of the gradual grinding to a halt of the systems and all that is good in the world. If God was so displeased early in creation that the Bible recorded that: “The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.” (Genesis 6:6); but for the covenant He made not to destroy the world with water again, the world in its present devastating stage is waiting to be destroyed. At the center stage of the battle for the soul of the world is the United States of America. America is a unique nation which God specially prepared to support the cause of the gospel and the cause of the Jewish nation. Fighting for the soul of America therefore is fighting for the soul of the world. This fact has been heavy in my spirit and the reason for my book, Saving America, published in 2012. I was slowed down on this writeup on prayers, until God used pastor John Kilpatrick’s revelation on the need for prayers for President Donald Trump to give me the required energy to complete the article.
The witches and Jezebels of America are not directly looking for Donald Trump. Donald Trump is not their problem or main target. The main target of the American Jezebels is the soul of America. These witches are a bunch of the principalities and powers scheming to destroy America. They do not care if all Americans are killed as long as they can secure the soul of America. The United States of America well-endowed with divine power is standing in the way of these evil forces from succeeding in taking on the world and finally heading it for total destruction. The attack on America is therefore an attack by the kingdom of darkness against the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. All the current issues of Russia meddling in the America elections, China aspiring to become superpower to overthrow America’s power and Canada flexing muscles with the United States are all part of the processes of getting America subdued. All nations of the world, including European nations are against America and what America stands for. They are Machiavellian in the process of seeing prosperity taken away from the United States of America so that they can better serve the interest of their master, the devil. Unfortunately, they seem to be succeeding in causing disaffections inside the American polity. As they build their arsenal from outside against America, they are also investing in the willing tools inside America to derail the work of God, and system of the United States.
Let those who are trying to destroy America get this message: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by power nor by might, says the Lord of Hosts. What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain. Then he will bring forth the capstone accompanied by shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!” (Zech 4:6-7). The Lord set up the United States of America, He does anything at His own pleasure and no one in the world has the ability to change what God has done. Paul said, “If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31). The Bible says, “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” (Psalm 127:1). In the eight years of the former administration in America, the government acted to make America to wobble and be weakened before these gang of nations that wished to undermine America. Trump was raised by God to stem the tide. The 2016 general elections in the United States was an ambush against Satan by the Almighty God. The war here in America is between light and darkness, evil and righteousness, and Satan versus God. The agents of evil are out to destroy not only Trump but every willing instrument that God may use to sanitize America for righteousness.
Whatever you may feel about Donald Trump: whether you like him as a person, his political leaning, as president or not, it is not about Trump but about God who raised Trump up at such a time as this. We should not confuse politics with the workings of providence, or more directly, the doings of the Lord. No genuine Christian should be fooled by the rhetoric from the politicians. Politicians are typically being used by Satan and most of them do not even know that they are being so used. Some of them who sometimes realize they are being used are not sure on whose side they are, whether God or Satan. There are only a few politicians who are on the side of God today. A great number of them have chosen to be used to oppose God; and all the time it is for personal gains – political fame, arrogance and power. The truth is that they often get all these material gains, but nothing lasts forever. They will one day say bye to fame and political power and enter face to face with the Almighty God who they have defied all their lives. No one will escape the judgement of the Almighty God.
Sadly, the American Church that is supposed to be the arrow head of the fight against evil has left her position and has allowed Satan to be in every other place but the footstool of the church. The Church which is destined to be at the right hand of God with Jesus Christ where the enemies will be made our footstool is unfortunately sleeping, leaving the enemies to have their way. (Psalm 110:1). This article is to encourage Christians in America and also outside America to rise and take our position to bring down Jezebel and her witchcrafts in the United States and everywhere they want to take a stronghold all over the world. Once upon a time, a man came to Jesus Christ to beg Him to heal his son. The son suffered severely from epilepsy, and often the attacks threw the lad into the fire and sometimes into water; and the man said he had taken his sick son to the disciples of Jesus and they could not get him healed. Jesus rebuked the demon in the young man, and it came out of him, and he was cured. The surprised disciples asked their Master why they could not cure the epileptic boy. Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” The state of things in the world and in the United States of America is serious. To get the spirit of witchcraft out of our society requires all manner of prayers: Prayers with fasting, prayers without fasting (by those who for any reason cannot fast). Prayers with understanding and prayers in the Holy Ghost. Everyone should be on board, young and old, and indeed people of all political leanings. Praying in the Holy Ghost is not limited to speaking in tongues; it is praying through the unction of the Holy Spirit. Paul describes a big dimension of Holy Ghost involvement in our prayers: Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (Rom 8:26-27)
Let’s get rid of demons in our community, please get it done. “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.” (2 Chro. 7:14-15). The time we are in is a terrible time. It is a time that requires all manner of prayers. Paul called on the Saints in Ephesus: “my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which, you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” (Eph 6:10-18).
God answers prayers and He is real at the way He responds to prayers. God cares about every yearnings of our hearts as Christians. Satan makes us to shy away from consistent prayers. Our unrelenting supplications for our nations and our political leaders are very important because the drum of war is becoming loud but humble corporate prayer from the heart of spiritual men and women both in America and other nations of the world will throw the enemies of righteousness into confusion. I have committed myself to praying for the government of Donald J Trump for I know it was a miracle that did not come by chance. It came from the Lord when men and women of God labored in prayers. The labor of our heroes shall not be in vain.
