In 2012, I wrote a book titled Saving America: The War We Can’t Ignore. I was conveying a message which, as an unknown author, might not have resonated with a large portion of the American population, and as a result, not many copies were sold. However, one thing remained clear to me as the author: while I chose to send copies of the book to certain Americans in 2012, when it was published, Mr. Donald Trump was among those God directed me to send a copy to. Others included pastors, past presidents, senators, conservative leaders, and heads of Christian and conservative organizations. The office of Donald Trump graciously acknowledged receipt of the copy sent to him.
With hindsight, it was no coincidence that on June 16, 2015, Donald Trump descended the golden escalator at Trump Tower to announce his candidacy for the 2016 presidential election. From that point on, it became clear that God was not in pretense about what He was about to do in America. As usual, every act of God is met with resistance and attack from Satan. It seemed Satan had the upper hand in 2020 when Trump’s bid for a second term was unsuccessful, and he was slowed down by relentless attacks on his person and policies. But God was not finished. He never begins a mission without accomplishing it. Perhaps He allowed the events of 2020 to fortify and prepare His instrument for the tasks ahead. One divine act during Trump’s first term was the transformation of the U.S. Supreme Court.
God shook the world with His miracles on November 5, 2024. Trump was not expected to win the election due to relentless attacks, lawfare, court cases, and two assassination attempts. But “If God be for us, who can be against us?” God raised people from all walks of life, billionaires, technocrats, patriots, and prayerful citizens, to fulfill His purpose for America’s destiny. Here we are in the destiny of a nation.
America is a country raised by God for the end times. I believe this is true for two major reasons. First, America has supported the global propagation of the gospel. Americans have historically raised and supported missionaries across the world. No matter the criticism directed at Americans, whether white or black, they have been a source of spiritual blessing to the world. Second, America has been a dependable ally of Israel amid enemies surrounding the nation. Since 1948, Israel has relied on America’s consistent support.
However, over time, Satan has sought to dismantle and destroy America’s divine destiny. The nation has been plagued by sin in various forms, to the extent that Americans who truly know the Lord have become increasingly rare. Many young Americans no longer recognize or revere the Bible. In its place are books that promote homosexuality, transgender ideology, and racial hatred, driving a wedge between blacks and whites. Forgiveness and love, godly principles, have been discarded, and “wokeness” has infiltrated the educational curriculum. Our current and emerging leaders are steeped in ungodly ideologies. The enemy’s objective is clear: to weaken America physically and spiritually.
America’s spiritual drift began decades ago, but the turning point was in 2008, when the nation began to openly celebrate homosexuality and pressure everyone to accept ungodly practices. Young Americans were increasingly led away from God. Universities became strongholds of godlessness and centers for indoctrinating children against godly values. Political leaders became champions of transgenderism and other immoral causes. These changes not only impacted America but also influenced nations across the world, some willingly, others compelled in exchange for American aid and support. The importance of America to the world became glaringly evident. As I wrote in my book, the United States of America is a critical nation. To destroy America is to destroy the world.
But God is never taken by surprise, and no one can outmaneuver Him. Lucifer, once a powerful angel, thought he could; he failed and now awaits his final judgment. God knows tomorrow from yesterday. You might wonder why He allows evil to happen. God permits evil for two key reasons:
- To teach His people, through hardship, to trust and depend on Him.
- Because all things, good or evil, ultimately serve to glorify Him. Job endured immense suffering, but his life ultimately reflected God’s glory.
At His appointed time and in His unique way, God raised Donald Trump to halt America’s moral decline. In 2024, few believed Trump could return to the White House, but God did it. I believe God orchestrated the political blunders of the Democrats, who, in many of their collective actions have desecrated God. The open borders, rampant inflation, and political missteps, such as replacing Joe Biden with Kamala Harris, were not beyond God’s reach in His plan to rescue America and the world from impending ruin.
From January 20, 2025, a new golden age began, not only in America, but across the globe:
- Sanity has been restored to the nation’s borders, and dangerous individuals are being removed to restore safety to lives and property.
- The economy is being rejuvenated; inflation is gradually decreasing, and trade imbalances with other nations are being corrected.
- The government has effectively slowed the spread of perverse behaviors. America now only recognizes two genders, as created by God: “So God created mankind in His own image; in the image of God, He created them; male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:27).
- Of global significance is the current diplomatic engagement with Iran, through strength. For decades, Iran has pursued nuclear weapons and sponsored proxies against Israel with the goal of wiping out the Jews. One such proxy was the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
Dr. Robert Jeffress of Pathway to Victory and senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas recently remarked that Trump is “a president forever” because of the godly reforms he has initiated in America and around the world. Nations are celebrating, in their own corners, the success of the American military in curbing Iran and reducing the global fear of nuclear war.
I urge everyone, politicians, journalists, and activists, who oppose Trump to begin to reconcile themselves with his presidency. This is not about Trump. It is about God versus Satan, good versus evil. Those fighting against this administration are, in effect, fighting against God. Even Trump himself cannot fully explain how things are unfolding. He is simply a powerful instrument in the hands of the Lord.
Our continued prayer is that God will not leave nor forsake him, but will guide him with godly ears and a heart that listens and obeys the voice of the Lord.
