Donald J. Trump and the Invisible War in America

From the beginning of the world, nothing has happened without God. Not everyone on Earth understands that events do not occur merely because of certain individuals or their presence. Behind everything, there are invisible hands at work. The real battle on earth is between the forces of good and evil—God representing good, and Satan representing evil. But God always wins. Good has never been defeated by evil. That is the story of America, from its founding to the present day.

When I arrived in the United States of America about 20 years ago, I believed I was entering a society of Bible believers. I naively imagined I would be walking on the pages of the Bible, starting from the airport. I was so eager to greet everyone with “God bless you,” but quickly realized that such expressions were not always welcomed.

To my surprise, I discovered that sharing a Bible in the workplace could be considered offensive. My supervisor at the time warned me that I could even be sued for religious harassment. It was not long before I realized that almost everything seemed acceptable in schools, except the Bible. This left me wondering: what had gone wrong in America, a nation widely regarded as one founded on Christian values? After all, the country’s currency boldly proclaims, “In God We Trust.” Shouldn’t that declaration reflect not just political sentiment, but also guide the economic and social life of the people, rooted in biblical principles?

Although I had already known that many people in and out of Christian society avoid the Bible because it confronts sinful lifestyles, it did the same to me until God helped me say, “No more.” But the level of repugnancy to the Bible in America was just unbelievable. As I studied the situation, I discovered that the Supreme Court had ruled for the separation of church and state. However, it soon became clear that this rule was being selectively applied, mostly to Christianity.

You were expected not to say “Merry Christmas,” but Happy Holidays because it was politically inappropriate. Public holidays like Good Friday and Easter Monday, which were normal in my country of birth, were not observed in the U.S. Even mentioning “Easter” seemed offensive to some. Children were taught about Santa Claus but not about Jesus Christ, the true reason for Christmas, and the most critical gift ever given to humanity. Speaking against Santa Claus is like offending a deity.

I was especially shocked when my daughter, then in middle school, was required to study the tenets of Islam and complete a project on its Five Pillars. Concerned by this, my wife, herself a teacher, felt compelled to visit the school to express our objections. What struck me as even more ironic was that the very teachers and administrators enforcing these policies were professing Christians. Some saw nothing wrong with it, while others, who privately believed it was inappropriate, remained silent, afraid to speak out for fear of jeopardizing their jobs.

Later, under the Obama administration, LGBTQ topics were introduced into school curricula. Children were taught about households without fathers, and many became confused about the difference between male and female. It was evident that America was reaching a climax of godlessness and headed toward catastrophe. As Scripture warns, a nation that forgets God is destined for destruction. The Psalmist says, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” Psalm 9:17

Paul warned the Romans against the dangers of ungodliness and moral decay. He wrote:

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness… because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore, God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.”
Romans 1:18–25 (NKJV)

This passage remains a sobering reminder of what happens when a society turns away from God, suppressing truth, celebrating moral confusion, and exalting created things above the Creator.

America has long since crossed the line of moral decency. It did not take long before Satan introduced woke ideology and racial indoctrination into the school curriculum. Some teachers began telling Black children vivid stories of how their ancestors looked horrible and suffered. Incidentally, this was not with the intent to educate them for healing, but in a way that fostered sorrow, resentment, and bitterness in them. To that, they added sweeping narratives of historical white injustice, deepening the divide within an already diverse society. The enemy’s strategy was unmistakable: to dismantle a nation once founded on godly principles by replacing truth and reconciliation with guilt, anger, and confusion.

The quick path to destroy a nation is to hijack its educational system, expose the children to ungodly knowledge. Joshua encouraged the people of Israel to teach their children God’s values, because that is the only path to true greatness (Joshua 1:8). Those Americans who promoted these moral shifts in America were not the real enemy; Satan, the enemy of righteousness, was using them. Many of them did not even realize the evil they were doing, because their consciences had been seared. The main objective is to destroy America and derail its destiny.

Sadly, even some pastors fell into this deception, echoing messages of racial lament and division. They forgot that the central message of the Gospel is forgiveness, healing, and peaceful living. Jesus, while on the cross, prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34). Some pastors, black, white, and other colors, were intimidated into silence, while others chose to sit on the fence to protect their platforms.

But God has not completely forsaken America, because of the divine mission He entrusted to this nation. There is no doubt that America was raised by God to be a defender of righteousness and a global beacon for the gospel. As a nation, America influences the rest of the world; what happens here reverberates across continents.

In my view, Donald Trump is a divine instrument, raised to counteract the moral decay not only in America but also around the world. I believe the rise of radical jihadist movements would have escalated globally if not for the fear and deterrent power of the United States under strong leadership.

At the appointed time, I believe God intervened to defend His work and His people, raising Donald Trump to confront and dismantle the works of darkness that were rapidly gaining ground in America and beyond. Humanly speaking, Trump had little chance of winning the presidency during either his first campaign or in the current political climate. The opposition against him has been fierce, orchestrated by forces both seen and unseen. Satan unleashed a formidable army of resistance against him.

The battles Trump fought and the victories he achieved during his first term, and what continues today, are clear signs to any spiritually discerning person that an unseen hand is at work, pushing back the forces of darkness. Indeed, the devil planned to sink the nation on July 13, 2024, carefully orchestrating what seemed like an assassination plot. But those plans, like others before them, and after all failed.

But the Word of the Lord stands: “Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake.” —Isaiah 54:15.

I am not surprised by the relentless attacks on Trump’s character and policies. Some Americans despise him to the point that they would rather see the nation fall than witness Trump’s success. Yet, the eyes of the Lord roam throughout the earth. Evil will never triumph over truth and righteousness.

I am not a prophet, but I sense deeply in my spirit that the restoration of godly values in America will be advanced through the Trump administration, one that will be difficult for Satan to uproot. If you cannot stand behind this cause, please step out of the way.

To the President, Donald J Trump, these are the words of the Lord: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
